In collaboration with the East Stroudsburg University’s (ESU) music department, I created a 12-minute animated visual work to accompany a live performance of The Colour Out of Space. This piece was commissioned by ESU’s Trevor Landreth and StaccAria, his duo with vocalist Madison Roths. Based on H.P. Lovecraft’s short story of the same name, the animation is synchronized with an original score for percussion and voice, translating the story’s atmosphere of dread and cosmic horror into a live audiovisual performance.

We are currently mixing the animation with high-fidelity recordings of the audio in preparation for its official release. Stay tuned! Selected still renders are included below.
