Arranged and choreographed by East Stroudsburg University’s Jess Batha, Threshold is a collaborative dance showcase featuring students and alumni. For this project, I created motion-capture-driven animation to accompany Batha’s live thesis performance. The dancers’ movements were synchronized with animated visuals, while particle simulations evoked the continual motion and energy of the sun.
I also created an interactive installation outside the performance hall. Developed through the collaborative grant Kinesthetic Code, this project explored TouchDesigner as a platform for real-time, movement-driven visuals. Within this framework, I built a custom node-based system that translated live webcam input into responsive visual forms, allowing audience movement to directly shape the projected imagery.
